You have some questions?
We have some answers! If you don't find an answer to your question here, please feel free to use the form below or give us a call at 928-635-1002.
We love animals, but we do not allow guest pets at this time.
Service Dogs: A Service Dog is defined by the ADA as a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform a task for a person with a disability, and must be under the control of the handler at all times. While it is not required, we always appreciate those guests who call ahead to let us know they’ll be bringing their ADA Service Dog! This helps us tremendously to plan our housekeeping schedule accordingly, as we have a very small team and perform extra cleaning tasks after our guests’ furry helpers come to stay.
Yes! We offer discounts for AAA, AARP, and Military. We also offer discounts for longer stays, as well as specials for full-property rentals. See the special offers on our booking page, or give us a call.
For cancellations made more than 10 days prior to arrival, we do offer a refund of your deposit, less a $25 processing fee. Within 10 days of your arrival, we do charge the full amount of your stay and do not offer refunds. In the event we are able to re-book the room for your dates, then we will offer a partial refund. (Exception for whole-property bookings, which carry a 30-day cancellation policy). Upon booking through our website, you have the option to add on trip protection for 10% of the cost of your stay!
Yes! Kids of all ages are welcome at Trapper’s. We ask that your children are always accompanied by an adult during your stay, whether playing outside or coming to the Main House for breakfast. We even have some games, toys, and coloring books in our reception area that you are welcome to borrow during your stay, as well as some outdoor activities under the pavilion. Please include all guests on your reservation, no matter how small.
Our normal check-in hours are between 4-6 pm. If you would like to request an early check-in, please let us know! We make every effort to accommodate those requests, and will be able to let you know the day prior or morning of your arrival whether that is a possibility.
If you will be arriving after 6 PM, please notify us in advance and we will gladly set up a very simple self-check-in procedure for you.
Our check-out time is 10:30 AM. We can sometimes be flexible on this, and will let you know if a late check-out is possible.
We do not allow smoking of any kind indoors or on cabin porches, nor burning of incense or candles. There is a designated smoking area outside, central to all the cabins.
Just the burgers! For the gas grill, we provide the propane, and offer grilling tools (spatula, tongs, etc) and a small supply of disposable plates & utensils.
If you’d like to have a campfire, you’ll find fire starter, lighters, kindling, logs, and marshmallow sticks all provided. We also sell baskets of s’mores fixings if you need a sweet treat! Williams is in very wildfire-prone country, and we abide 100% by all local restrictions and seasonal fire bans. It is common in the summertime that we are under fire restrictions. Your innkeeper will be able to let you know whether the fire pit is open for use during your stay. Thank you for your understanding if a campfire is not a possibility while you are visiting.
We do not have guest laundry facilities available, but there is a laundromat right in town about 5 minutes from here.
We are about 1.2 miles from the center of downtown Williams. Occasionally our guests will walk, but most folks drive the short distance and then walk around the Route 66 strip once parked down there. Please keep in mind Williams does not have ride-share services, and there is extremely limited taxi service… welcome to small town living!
We definitely get plenty of snow here in northern AZ! We do out best to stay ahead of the weather by salting & shoveling the cabin steps & porches. Our large gravel driveway, however, is a bit more challenging to clear. Heavy snow days may encourage you to simply cozy up in your cabin with some hot cocoa and a good book, or pull on your boots and have a good old fashion snowball fight right here at the property!
