EAT, EXPLORE & STAY

Only the best make Trapper's list.

Williams is a small town nestled in pine country Arizona. Our Route 66 town offers countless things to do, see, and taste before having a solid night of relaxation at Trapper’s Rendezvous.

FISH & PICNIC AT A VINTAGE DAM

Santa Fe Dam was built in the early 1890s by the railroad to hold water for steam engines traveling through Williams. These days, it’s a picturesque spot for fishing and picnicking, and is easily accessible from Trapper’s Rendezvous

THE ULTIMATE ANIMAL TOUR

Drive it, stroll it, soar it. Bearizona features 160-acres full of natural, northern Arizona wildlife. See bears, wolves, bison and more from the safety of your vehicle as you drive through the roaming animal section of the park. Then, park the car and take a stroll through habitats of jaguars, cubs, foxes and porcupines, to name a few. There is a little something for folks of all ages at Bearizona.

ECLECTIC SHOPPING

Route 66 history buffs can explore more than six blocks of historic buildings and shops bursting with memorabilia.

GOLF ENTHUSIASTS

In the shadow of Bill Williams Mountain, Elephant Rocks at Williams is the perfect escape from the summer heat of the Valley. Nestled at 7,000 feet above sea level, the course meanders its way through stands of large Ponderosa pines.

Come stay with us.

A BREATHTAKING DRIVE

Bill Williams Mountain Loop Road provides striking views of its namesake peak in the distance. The drive takes one to two hours to complete and provides breathtaking natural views for some 30 miles.

THE 7TH NATURAL WONDER BY AIR

You may have seen the Grand Canyon before, but probably not from a helicopter! Let us help you book this adrenaline-fueled, sightseeing adventure.

IT'S A STICK UP

See how the west was won and experience a good ole’ fashioned hold up while riding the Grand Canyon Railway. Seasonal rides during fall and winter delight the kid in all of us - locals call the Railway the Polar Express during the holidays as the town transforms into a Winter Wonderland.

HOME COOKED BREAKFAST

It’s a convenient, made-with-love start to your day! We encourage you to add on breakfast cooked by our inn keepers to your stay. We may be biased, but our breakfasts are phenomenal.

GET YOUR BREW ON

Williams is home to the Grand Canyon Brewing Company and Distillery. With late hours and a full kitchen, this is one stop you need to add to your itinerary. Crack open a cold one!

BEEF, ITS WHATS FOR DINNER

Established in 1946, Rod's is a world-famous restaurant and has been visited by people from all walks of life and many foreign countries. The much sought after menu, die-cut in the shape of a steer, proudly boasts ‘darn good’ steaks.
